Stem Cell Treatment - What is it?
Stem cells come from embryo extracts. These cells produce new cells and tissues. The procedure involves the extraction of stem cells from fat or bone marrow. Generally, it is performed in fat (lipo-extraction). With local anesthesia, a standardized process separates the fat and removes the stem cells. Once extracted the cells are mixed with PRP platelet-rich blood plasma and applied to the area to be treated. In skin, joints etc.
The process takes approximately three hours and is not recommended in patients with an active infection or cancer.
